Cornbelly’s

Last night Brent and I spent the evening at the Cornbelly’s Corn Maze. He had a work  event with Brandon Mull, author of the popluar Fablehaven series. It was fun to see kids and adults alike get googly-eyed over their favorite author.

We ran through the haunted maze, before it was dark and haunted of course. (I don’t especially enjoy creepy people jumping out of the dark with the intent to make me scream, or the sound of chain saws being reved up inches from my face by people dressed in blood-stained clothes.)

They had everything from bull riding and pig races, to giant pyramids of carved pumpkins and bonfires. It was a fun evening, and I loved the crisp smell of fall in the air.
