Hipstamatic Walk

There is nothing like the look of an old photograph. I used to love flipping through my grandparents photo albums, picking up aged pictures with a heavy weight and textured surface. Some colors were distorted or fading, and many were framed with the classic dark-room frame around the edges. I love the nostalgic feel of these photos.

Of course there are photoshop tricks to get the classic look on current images as well. Brent has a fantastic hipstamatic app on his i-phone, and has been playing around with it lately. This weekend the sun came out after a fresh snow, so we took a walk through Sugar House and snapped a few photos, aging them instantly with the conveniences of modern technology.
