This last weekend we tried a vegan and vegetarian restaurant called Sage’s Cafe. It was an old house converted into dining space on Broadway. The atmosphere was pleasant and quaint. We sat on the enclosed patio overlooking the street and enjoyed a couple new dishes.
Brent had a vegetarian chicken sandwich, and I had tempeh (an Indonesian soy conglomeration) with pesto. It was a different kind of taste – good, but I’m not sure Brent’s excited to visit again soon. Though he gets the lifestyle, a vegetarian palette isn’t really his thing.
