I know this isn’t the kind of choice I usually feature on Good Reads, but I can’t ignore the fact it’s still a great book. I’ll keep it simple: if you want a book that provides valuable information on how to eat right, delivered in a way that is easy to understand, and provided by professionals who know what they are talking about, then this is the perfect book for you.
When Brent and I first purchased Complete Food and Nutrition Guide a couple years ago we read a chapter a week. We made it through about 5 or 6 chapters together and then life got crazy and we fell off track. We now use it frequently as a reference or to brush up. The American Dietetic Association says it like it is, like it should be. Nutrition really is key to good health, and it pays to education yourself. This book should be in every home.
