Union Pacific

Over the weekend we spent some time with family strolling through The Gateway before seeing Harry Potter 7.2. While wandering, we stopped at the old Union Pacific Depot. The space is aged, empty, and beautiful. Murals on the walls depict the expansion of America’s first transcontinental rail system, and it’s presence in the state of Utah. The afternoon sun came streaming in through the windows and doors. All it needed was the bustle of 1910 travelers and the sounds of train whistles and steam to complete the scene playing out in my mind.
