April 15th 1912 – A century ago today the great RMS Titanic sank on its maiden voyage from England to New York City, killing 1,540 people. I’m sure you’ve seen all the hype surrounding this centennial anniversary; commemorative cruises, 3-D re-releases of James Cameron’s film, new TV series, magazine articles, etc. I’ve always been fascinated by the story, and I’ll admit, I saw Titanic 3 times in the movie theaters when it first came out in 1997. Such a tragic story, but so captivating.
