All In One Rhythm

Today’s the first day of the 2014 World Cup! We’re big soccer fans at our house. Having a husband and two brothers who played soccer through their youth, high school, and some city/college rec teams, I’ve cheered through many a soccer game. I even played a little soccer in my pre-ballet days and Brent and I were on a co-ed rec team in college (I’m not very good). It’s really fun though and I’ve always said soccer players must be some of the most physically fit athletes in the world. They run (really fast) for 90 minutes! Brent also lived in Brazil for a couple years before college, so he has a special tie to this year’s cup.  We’re excited to gather with friends and watch the action. Here’s a list of 8 things you need to know about this summer’s world cup, including the official slogan: “Juntos num so ritmo”  (“All In One Rhythm”).
